6. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to data practices described in the Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all diagnostic data, vehicle records, and reports you create through the Service.
7. Intellectual Property
Platform: GlassDiagnostics owns all intellectual property rights in the Service, including the software, AI models, interface design, and documentation. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any platform technology.
Your Data: You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service — including vehicle information, diagnostic codes, technician notes, and generated reports. You grant GlassDiagnostics a limited license to process and store this data solely to provide and improve the Service.
Feedback: Any feedback or suggestions you provide about the Service may be used by GlassDiagnostics without obligation or compensation.
8. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to reason over vehicle information, diagnostic trouble codes, and symptom data you provide in order to generate diagnostic suggestions. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated diagnoses are suggestions only and are not a substitute for professional judgment by a qualified automotive technician
- The accuracy of AI analysis depends on the completeness and accuracy of the vehicle information, diagnostic codes, and symptom descriptions you provide
- All final diagnostic conclusions and repair recommendations are the responsibility of the licensed technician and the shop
- GlassDiagnostics makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI-generated output for any particular repair decision
The platform is a productivity tool — trained technicians must review and confirm all AI-generated output before acting on it.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLASSDIAGNOSTICS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time. GlassDiagnostics may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without notice if:
- You violate any provision of these Terms
- You fail to pay fees when due
- Continued access poses a risk to the security or integrity of the platform or other users
- Required by law or regulation
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases. You may request an export of your diagnostic data within 30 days of termination by contacting [email protected].
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction, as determined by mutual agreement or applicable law.
